Having worked in some of Australias leading superannuation firms for over 16 years Greg Bentley has advised many clients who have wanted to manage their own retirement and control their futures through superannuation. Inspired by their stories Greg decided to take control of his own future and establish Opulen Accounting and Superannuation a chartered accounting firm specialising in administration, audit, taxation and compliance services for self-managed superannuation funds ("SMSF"). Greg is highly qualified in the area of superannuation having obtained the Specialist Advisor ("SSA") and Specialist Auditor ("SSAud") qualifications offered by the Self Managed Super Fund Professionals' Association of Australia Limited ("SPAA"). He is also a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Tax Institute. In 2013 Greg was also awarded the national SPAA CEO Scholarship award. A highly regarded technical speaker Greg regularly completes presentations for SPAA and the Tax Institute on a range of superannuation issues for other accountants and financial advisors.
